This movie is really, really funny. I listened to Jody Hill (the co-writer/director/co-star) interviewed on Jeff Goldsmith’s Creative Screenwriting Podcast which inspired me to go rent and watch the Foot Fist Way with the now famous but previously unknown Danny McBride. I’m ashamed that I hadn’t already seen this movie.

If you like indie comedies about Tae Kwon Do instructors who have no redeeming qualities except their ridiculous lack of self awareness stapled to their over-achieving self esteem; do yourself a favour and rent this flick. Then check out Observe and Report.
